Andrew grew up in Phoenix and attended public schools in the Washington Elementary School District, including Orangewood Elementary School and Royal Palm Middle School. Andrew graduated from Sunnyslope High School and went on to attend Brigham Young University where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Prior to his senior year, Andrew spent seven and a half months volunteering full-time with a non-profit organization in orphanages in Quito, Ecuador.

 

Following his undergraduate studies, Andrew attended The University of Texas at Austin School of Law where he graduated with his Juris Doctor. While in law school, Andrew completed an externship with Federal District Judge G. Murray Snow. Upon graduating from law school, Andrew returned home to Phoenix where he became a licensed attorney through the State Bar of Arizona. After obtaining licensure, Andrew worked as a mediator, patiently and effectively working with individuals through court processes.

Andrew is a Certified Public Manager, Eagle Scout and has volunteered as a "Big" with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona since 2014.

Andrew proposed to his wife Kenna on Shaw Butte in North Central Phoenix in 2015. Kenna graduated with Honors with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from The University of Arizona and works as an analyst for a marketing agency. Andrew, Kenna and their son Westley live in Phoenix and are active members of their church. They enjoy hiking, traveling and spending time with family and their rescue dog Walter. Andrew was elected Justice of the Peace for the Moon Valley Justice Precinct in 2016.
